Bio
Vince Welnick: keys, harmonies, former Tubes synth player. Auditioned the week Brent died and was on stage six weeks later when the fall tour opened on September 7th. Five years of holding the keys chair through Garcia's decline. Took the band's dissolution hard; left music for years, then took his own life in 2006. Samba in the Rain and Way to Go Home are his. He deserved more.
